Intel Pentium 4 670 & Pentium D 820 Low-Detail Gaming

Summary:

The Athlon 64's are known to be faster in games, but interestingly, the Pentium 4 670 and Pentium 4 XE 3.73GHz performed well in our Far Cry benchmark. The Athlon 64 FX-57 was streets ahead in front, but there's a slight battle going on between the Athlon 64 X2 4800+, FX-55 and the two Pentium 4's.

The Pentium D 820 is a slouch when it comes to low-detail gaming performance, but nobody plays games at that resolution if they've got a reasonable video card, do they...?
